The Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum (JWEF) is a global initiative derived from the World Entrepreneurship Forum. It is a global community of students and young entrepreneurs.
The JWEF aims at contributing to the World Entrepreneurship Forum’s mission: “Promote and Accelerate Junior Entrepreneurship globally as a way to create wealth and social justice, to prepare the world of 2050”. By promoting JWEF, the World Entrepreneurship Forum brings the youth vision to the global reflection on entrepreneurship.
JWEF promotes entrepreneurship amongst young people. Young entrepreneurs can offer a fresh outlook on the world. In fact, entrepreneurs can increase their chances of success with practical education and training through innovation. It is the key to entrepreneurial growth - strong ecosystems foster successful entrepreneurs and start-up friendly policies can boost job creation. JWEF will also help to widen your network, learn from role models, and find inspiration and act.

Mr. Fred F. Korangy is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Member of the Board of Directors of at New Enterprise East Investments (NEEI). Mr. Korangy is also the Chairman, President, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer at BTS Logic Inc. Mr. Korangy acquired BTS in 2002. He is the Chairman, Co-founder, and President at Logic Tree Corp and provides the vision that guides the company's growth. He founded Logic Tree in 1999 and as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; he drove it to more than100% annual revenue growth for most of this decade. Mr. Korangy is a serial entrepreneur and founded or acquired four hi-technology firms and drove these to successful exits as the Chairman and/or Chief Executive Officer since 1989. Between 1981 and 1989, he formed ten partnerships to develop industrial and commercial properties in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida, eventually valued at more than $300 million. Mr. Korangy exited from all ventures successfully prior to the 1989 real estate crash. He has 20 years of creating, growing and selling high technology ventures. He created four technology firms, turned $29 million in funding into enterprise value of more than $137 million, and realized returns of 50% and 5.2 times the invested equity. Upon his departure as the Chief Executive Officer of Logictree in 2007, Mr. Korangy began testing the NEEI concept within MENA and the GCC and received encouragement from GCC NGOs and investors alike, as well as from interested financial entities outside the region. In 1996, he founded Sazu GMBH of Hamburg, Germany. As the Chief Executive Officer, he rapidly grew Sazu and sold it in 2000 to Ansari GMBH for seven times the original investment. Mr. Korangy has been a technology entrepreneur and manager since 1989, when he founded Digital Technics, Inc. (DTI). He built DTI into a technology provider with sales to customers including Hughes Network Systems, Motorola, Lockheed Martin, L3 and Granger Telecom. As the Chief Executive Officer at DTI, Mr. Korangy raised $12 million, built revenues to $7 million annually, and, in 1995, sold the company to L3 Communications at five times the original investment. While still in college, in 1977, he started The Philadelphia Food Works and Chefs Market, and sold it in 1981. Mr. Korangy has been a guest speaker on entrepreneurial processes at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, Columbia University, UMD, and Johns Hopkins University. He holds United States patents on speech recognition. Mr. Korangy holds a M.S. Degree in Technology Management and Systems from the University of Maryland (UMD).
Dr. Behzad Nadji
Dr. Behzad Nadji has enjoyed a career spanning over twenty five years in Networks Design and
Architecture, Operations & Business Support Systems and Mobile Application Development fields. He
started from co-founding and building startups to managing large multinational teams in various area of
software Systems Design and Development, Telecom, Services development, IT Consolidation, Data
Center Architecture and Consolidation, and Internal/Hybrid Cloud and Self Servicing portals. As the
senior VP of AT&T and a corporate officer, he led the prestigious AT&T Lab (formerly Bell Labs) Research
organization involved in Network, Software and Speech technologies research. He also created and
managed the Enterprise Architecture organization, which defined the overall AT&T Operations Support
Systems (OSS/BSS), Network and IT architecture blueprints. After the merger with SBC, Dr. Nadji was in
charge of Network Architecture, Design, Development and Certification for the entire AT&T/SBC
Network. He also headed new technology introduction into AT&T network and software systems and
managed the AT&T Strategic Venture Investment Fund.
Dr. Nadji also served as Senior VP and VP at Excite@Home and BlackBerry for many years managing
large multinational software development teams. At BlackBerry, he consolidated and managed the
internal and customer facing Business and Corporate systems (CIO Functions), including Mobile
application development, Financials and HR systems, Sales and Marketing systems, Care and Sales
Portals, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Information Management/ Reporting systems, Customer Care
Systems, Ticketing Systems, Network Management, Monitoring and Metering Systems and various
proprietary internal systems.
Throughout his career, Dr. Nadji has served on a number of advisory boards and board of directors,
including the IBM Autonomic computing Advisory Board, HP Technical Advisory Board, and University of
Southern California EE technical Advisory Board and the TeleManagement Forum Board of Directors. He
is the recipient of AT&T’s prestigious “Science and Technology Medal”, as well as over 20 other awards
in the area of business innovation, architecture, and software development excellence. A senior
member of IEEE, he holds over 10 issued technical patents and several others that are in progress.
He is currently the founder of the Global Business and Technology Consulting firm which is involved in
technical assessment of M&A activities as well as advising companies with their Architecture, Systems
and Software Engineering practices.
Behzad Sadeghi has close to 30 years of experience in both the technology and business ends of the software development industry in the US and Iran.
His experience covers areas from engineering, systems architecture, project management, quality management, sales, and raising capital to executive management, executive coaching, and coaching Agile teams. He has worked on projects at such companies as Time Warner, Bank of America, First Data Corporation, Bear Stearns, First Interstate Bank of California, and Union Bank.
In the late nineties, Behzad co-founded rTrust Technologies, a digital signature company, where, over the course of five years, he helped take an abstract mathematical algorithm from a concept in the lab to a patented embedded-software product licensed to information security companies in both the US and abroad, including for a communication device used by the Office of the President of the United States. He helped raise over $5 million for the startup and was with the company until its sale to ICEsoft Technologies.
Currentlly, Behzad manages the 60-person Enterprise Software Development Team at Mahan Air. He is also a Consultant to the CEO of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company.
Behzad Sadeghi holds a degree in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
Farah Jamali obtained her doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Tehran University. She has over 20 years of management experience in Non-governmental organizations. Dr. Jamali has been the administrator of the association for the blind in Zanjan, a member of "Ra'd" rehabilitation foundation's board of directors , the head of "Mehraneh" foundation's first board of directors, and a member of "Rouzbeh" foundation's board of directors; along with these responsibilities,she has gained experience in new methods of managing the non-governmental organizations. She has been the managing director of Zanjan Pharmacists' cooperative( one of the most successful commercial-professional companies of the country) ,for 8 years. She is now,the head of Zanjan Pharmacists' cooperative's board of directors, and the managing director of "Rouzbeh" foundation. This charity is an organization of public utility with a social Entrepreneurship approach, which holds the nationwide activity license.
